Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus- Oncology: Radiation seeks a part-time Medical Physics Assistant to support the physics team across simulation, planning, delivery, and QA. You will assist with data entry, calibrations, and data analysis for clinical trials.

Minimum Bachelor's in Medical Physics or related field, MS Excel/Word proficiency, and coding experience are preferred. Some regional travel within the network is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Radiation Therapy, or related field.
• Proficient use of MS Excel and Word.
• Experience with coding and/or programming highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Assists with simulation, treatment planning, and treatment delivery QA.
• Performs data entry for dosimetry data and clinical trials.
• Maintains and calibrates dosimetry equipment as instructed.
• Supports physicians and staff with QA procedures and documentation.
