DaMar Staffing is seeking a Radiation Oncology Coder Certified to code all cases accurately and efficiently, ensuring maximum reimbursement. The role collaborates with the Coding Supervisor to prevent denials and maintain high-quality productivity standards.

Required are 3+ years in Radiation Oncology coding, ROCC certification, and strong knowledge of CPT/ICD coding, payer guidelines, and EHR systems. The position emphasizes HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS/ICD coding concepts.
• Ability to review chart documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and payer guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with staff to resolve coding issues.

Responsibilities

• Review chart documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify inconsistencies and resolve issues with Coding Supervisor.
• Communicate with Claims Resolution Specialists to resolve errors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and diagnoses.
• Ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with providers to obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
