Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P).
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Proficiency with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Strong attention to accuracy and productivity (95%+).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for professional fee radiology services.
• Apply codes with highest specificity and ensure accuracy for reimbursement.
• Interpret coding guidelines and maintain AHIMA/Code of Ethics standards.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in handling PHI.
• Work remotely and meet productivity and quality targets.
