Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Test Director to lead all testing for our RADAR development and deployment program. You will plan, coordinate, and execute developmental and operational testing to validate performance and compliance, guiding a multidisciplinary team across lab, field, and customer sites.

You will manage IPT activities, budget, and reporting, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in systems testing, test management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in radar system testing, development, or operations.
• Experience planning and executing developmental and operational testing for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of radar system principles, components, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with test and evaluation methodologies including DT and OT.
• Knowledge of DoD testing policies and directives.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Active security clearance (Secret; Top Secret if needed).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for radar system testing.
• Direct and oversee laboratory, field, and operational testing activities.
• Lead Integrated Program Team (IPT) and manage budget as CAM.
• Collect and analyze test data to evaluate system performance against requirements.
• Prepare detailed test reports, after-action reviews, and briefings for management.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and cybersecurity requirements and safety protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement and integration of digital engineering tools.
• Support SICO activities to ensure proper radar system integration.
