Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to lead and support radar-focused engineering efforts for Navy programs. You will develop and maintain system requirements, and contribute to architecture, verification, and testing across the life cycle.

The role requires a Secret clearance, 4+ years of experience, and collaboration with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Occasional travel to support testing is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
• Experience developing, analyzing, and maintaining system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems is preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
