Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a systems engineering professional to support Navy radar programs. You will develop and maintain system requirements, perform modeling and tests, and collaborate with government engineers on complex defense solutions.

The role requires 4+ years in systems engineering, MBSE familiarity, and strong analysis skills. Travel to Navy test sites and labs is expected, with a clear focus on system integration and verification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities including requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability throughout the program lifecycle.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems is preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and lab or integration activities.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies used to support system design and integration.
• Ability to work closely with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams on system integration and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
