Job summary

RTX is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to join the Advanced Products & Solutions Mission Area in the Systems Engineering Center, focusing on radar and early-warning sensor systems for warfighters. You will work with experienced engineers to define architecture, develop requirements, and support full lifecycle activities.

The role emphasizes modeling, analysis, data-driven design, and collaboration across hardware and software teams.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
Experience in Systems Engineering or knowledge of radar fundamentals.
Experience with algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, data analysis using Matlab, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

Define system architecture, develop requirements, analyze and model across the full product lifecycle.
Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
Generate system CONOPS and system architectures.
Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments.
Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++.
Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on laboratory testing.
Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities.
Perform trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE-based system design.
Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
