Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer I to join the Surface Radars and Radars team. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment, working onsite with up to 20% travel to RTX facilities and customers.

The role emphasizes radar system design, signal processing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to solve mission-critical problems. Security clearance and master’s level STEM degree are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
• Experience through on-the-job work, research, coursework or projects is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithms.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
• Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to leadership or customers.
