Job summary

Raytheon in El Segundo seeks a Radar Systems Engineer to design and develop advanced radar and early‑warning sensor systems for the warfighter. You will define system architecture, develop and verify requirements, and support integration, testing, and flight activities across the full product lifecycle.

You will work with experienced engineers to perform analysis and modeling using MATLAB, Python, and C++, participate in hardware/software integration, and prepare technical reports for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics obtained by start date.
• Hands-on testing of electronic equipment in labs and troubleshooting system-level issues.
• Data analysis using MATLAB and/or C++.
• Experience in algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and develop/verify system requirements.
• Perform analysis, modeling, and MBSE-based system design across the product lifecycle.
• Support integration, testing, flight activities, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Prepare and present technical reports and briefings to internal/external stakeholders.
