Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA seeks Radar Systems Engineers to define architecture, develop requirements, perform analysis, and support integration across the full product lifecycle in a fast-paced lab environment. Candidates should hold a STEM degree with 5+ years of systems engineering experience in radar, be eligible for US security clearance, and proficient with MATLAB, Python, and DOORS. Relocation eligible; onsite; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering experience with radar algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and data analysis.
• Active and transferrable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start; US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, including CONOPS, architecture, requirements allocation, traceability, verification, and qualification.
• Develop and verify system requirements using DOORS and perform radar mode algorithm development.
• Modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB and Python; support integration and flight/test activities.
