Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Systems Engineer to support Life Cycle Engineering. The role leads depot integration of radar hardware/software, creates test plans, verifies requirements, and collaborates across engineering disciplines to drive system solutions.

You will update CONOPS, manage system requirements, and perform analyses to improve lifecycle planning. Occasional travel up to 20% may be required; onsite work in El Segundo is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years’ IV&V experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support RSIL integration, verification, and validation and troubleshoot issues in lab or depot environments.
• Diagnose failures via data analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
• Produce clear performance evaluations using MATLAB and SQL-based analytics tools.
• Prepare concise technical findings for IPTLs, Systems Engineering, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate hardware test, troubleshooting, sustainment, and depot returns.
