Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements management, system integration, and verification across the lifecycle.

The candidate will model and analyze system performance, develop test plans, and work with government engineers in a collaborative, security-cleared environment. Travel and on-site responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and lifecycle activities.
• Experience with radar or Navy defense systems preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage system requirements and design baselines with traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
