Job summary

Peraton seeks a Surveillance Radar Advisor to support NAS modernization and FAA surveillance systems from a fully remote setting. You will analyze radar operations, report key performance data, and help implement upgrades for safer and more efficient air travel.

This role requires substantial travel when on-site activities are needed, estimated at 75% of the time. Join a mission-driven team delivering critical aviation infrastructure under BNATCS.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar systems, maintenance, or integration is required.
• Strong self-starting capability and ability to work with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical reports and stakeholder updates.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on radar system integration, operations, and lifecycle sustainment.
• Support FAA surveillance programs with performance analysis and modernization planning.
• Observe, capture, and report technical data for FAA radar installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with FAA, contractors, and engineering teams to align with mission objectives.
• Produce concise technical and status reports through all project phases.
