Job summary

STR is seeking an experienced RF Systems Integration Engineer to lead RF test, measurement, and system integration for a new mode on an externally developed radar system. You will own end-to-end RF integration requirements and coordinate with the partner radar developer.

The role requires deep hands-on RF and radar expertise, strong programming in Matlab/Python/C/C++, and the ability to translate customer objectives into technical plans. A current U.S. security clearance is highly valued.

Qualifications

Experience leading RF test, measurement and integration on radar systems.
Deep knowledge of RF architectures, signal chains and interfaces.
Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, Simulink or C/C++.
Ability to translate customer requirements into RF integration needs.
Security clearance or eligibility for access to DoD/SCI programs.

Responsibilities

Lead RF testing and characterization across lab, integration, and system environments.
Develop understanding of third‑party radar systems and their RF chains.
Define and own RF integration approach for new mode on external radar.
Design and validate integration strategies including RF interfaces and timing.
Collaborate with external radar developers to resolve RF and system challenges.
Lead integration test planning, execution, and analysis with defined success criteria.
