Job summary

STR's Sensors Division seeks an experienced RF Systems Integration Engineer to lead RF test, characterization, and integration on an externally developed radar system. You will own end-to-end RF integration requirements and act as the technical authority for system-level RF design and validation.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance required for DoD programs.
• PhD, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years with BS, 6+ years with MS, or 2+ years with PhD in relevant RF sensor/test domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF testing, measurement, and characterization across lab and system environments.
• Develop deep understanding of a third-party radar system's RF architecture and interfaces.
• Define and own RF systems integration approach for implementing a new mode on an externally developed radar.
• Design and validate integration strategies including RF interfaces, timing, and signal processing impacts.
• Collaborate with external radar developers to resolve RF and integration challenges; lead test planning and validation.
