Job summary

RTX is seeking Radar Systems Engineers in the Naval Power Mission Area to design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems for the warfighter. You will define system architecture, develop requirements, and support integration, testing, and flight activities across the full product lifecycle.

Collaborate with experienced engineers to perform modeling and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++, generate CONOPS, assist with RF design, and contribute to verification,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM major by start date.
• Experience with RF fundamentals: link budget analysis, modulation schemes, noise figure, gain, bandwidth.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) through coursework, internships, or lab work.
• Experience using MATLAB for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and develop and verify system requirements.
• Perform modeling, analysis, and data analysis across the full product lifecycle.
• Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities.
• Generate system CONOPS and system architectures.
• Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments.
