Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, is expanding its Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team in Marlborough, MA to support naval radar programs and solve complex problems. We seek a Systems Engineer with foundational skills in hardware, software, and systems integration who will learn across disciplines, develop test plans, and troubleshoot issues in real-world environments.

This on-site role requires U.S. citizenship and clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems hardware, integration, and/or testing.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python and C/C++ is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Missions: Travel as needed to various locations.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and verification documentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for seamless integration.
• Document integration plans and effectively communicate results to leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
