Job summary

Raytheon is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to join the Naval Power Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center. You will help design and develop advanced radar and early-warning sensor systems for the warfighter, collaborating with experienced engineers to define architecture, derive requirements, and support the full product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes solving complex technical challenges, modeling, verification, and test activities across development, integration, and flight

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM major by start date.
Experience with RF fundamentals: link budget analysis, modulation schemes, noise figure, gain, bandwidth, filtering, or wave propagation.
Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) through coursework, internships, or lab work.
Experience using MATLAB for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
Generate system CONOPS and system architectures.
Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments.
Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++.
Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities.
