Raytheon Technologies in McKinney, TX, seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as Radar Power Lead within the MPD group. You will own power solution development across design, production, and sustainment for ground-based radar systems, guiding technical maturation and risk reduction.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, with strong leadership, experience in power sub-assemblies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience.
• Technical leadership experience with tough technical challenges.
• Electrical hardware design and development, with adherence to design standards.
• Experience with production of new or evolved power sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical point of contact for power solutions within the MFRFS Product Line for development, production and sustainment.
• Provide design improvement recommendations and assess technical risks.
• Lead resolution of issues in power sub-assemblies and optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design teams for next-generation power solutions.
• Assist in evaluating repaired units to return to the field and plan hardware design efforts.
• Occasional travel to support customers at various sites.
