Job summary

Leidos is seeking a qualified Radar Optimization Engineer to support the BNATCS RSR Program Office (AJM-41). You will help configure, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and optimize radar and related electronic systems across busy airports, serving as SME to program leads and coordinating with FAA personnel and vendors.

The role requires field work, multi-site travel (high-50% to 75%), and deep knowledge of RF propagation, radar performance, and interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, fiber).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Completion of formal radar training (FAA Academy or military radar training).
• Hands-on experience with radar systems in NAS or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Represent the PO at RSR sites and adhere to multi-site schedule.
• Serve as SME to program office’s leads on radar optimization.
• Configure, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and optimize radar and related systems.
