Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks an Electronics Engineering Manager – Radar & Ground-Based Systems in Colorado Springs, CO. Lead a team of electronics engineers, drive system design and integration for a next-generation SDA radar, and serve as a key IPT/lead for major radar programs.

This role blends technical depth with people leadership, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance while coordinating with cross-functional teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master’s with 6 years of experience.
• Requires active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• RF system design experience is required.
• Experience with RF test equipment and measurements.
• Ability to read and develop engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage a functional team of up to ~15 electronics engineers.
• Serve in a direct program role (e.g., IPT Lead, subsystem lead).
• Shape design and integration of a new ground-based radar for SDA missions.
• Blend technical depth with people leadership and program execution.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management.
