Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Diagnostic Imaging on a full-time basis for the first shift (8:00a-4:30p) to provide diagnostic imaging services in outpatient clinics. The role requires ARRT-recognized education, Kentucky licensure, and ARRT registration or eligibility.

The successful candidate will perform imaging examinations with various radiographic techniques to support physician diagnoses and patient care. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an ARRT-recognized program.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT registration or registry eligibility; must obtain within 1 year of hire or licensure.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Providediagnostic imaging services to patientsinan outpatient clinicsetting. Utilizevarious radiographic techniques and equipmenttoperform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required (Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Ky licensure, whichever occurs first).
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Rad Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
