Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in an outpatient clinic setting, operating radiographic equipment and applying imaging protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. The role requires ARRT registered or registry-eligible status, Kentucky licensure, and an associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.

BLS is preferred and must be achieved within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or registry-eligible status required.
• Kentucky licensure required by the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of Ky licensure.

Job Description

Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Utilize various radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required (Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Ky licensure, whichever occurs first).
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Rad Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
