Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging. The position is PRN with schedule varying, performing the majority of radiology exams under supervision as needed within the Radiology department.

Requirements include an ARRT-recognized degree or military training (JRCERT-accredited), active KY licensure, and ARRT registration or eligibility. BLS is preferred on hire and must be completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from ARRT-recognized program or military training (JRCERT) accredited program.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required; BLS preferred on hire and due within 90 days.

• Independently performs the majority of diagnostic imaging exams with minimal supervision in the Radiology section.

Job Description:

• At the administrative direction of the Radiology Director, Manager, and the clinical Direction of the Radiologist/Team Leader, independently performs the majority of exams with minimal supervision done within the section of Radiology employed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required. BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.
