Job summary

AARRT certification, KY licensure, and ARRT registration or eligibility are required, along with BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-recognized program.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs the majority of radiology exams with minimal supervision.
• Operates radiology equipment within the Diagnostic Imaging section.
• Adheres to safety, quality controls, and radiographic standards.

**Summary****Job Description:****Rad Tech - Diagnostic Imaging****PRN - schedule varies****Job Description:*** At the administrative direction of the Radiology Director, Manager, and the clinical Direction of the Radiologist/Team Leader, independently performs the majority of exams with minimal supervision done within the section of Radiology employed.**Requirements*** Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.* Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.* Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.
