Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Rad Tech to provide diagnostic imaging services in outpatient settings in Elizabethtown. The role involves using radiographic techniques and equipment to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating conditions. Schedule varies (PRN), Monday–Friday when on, with no weekend work.

Candidates must hold ARRT-recognized credentials and Kentucky licensure; ARRT certification must be obtained within a year of hire or licensure. BLS is required within 90 days.

Job Description

Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Utilize various radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required (Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Ky licensure, whichever occurs first).
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Rad Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
