Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Racquets Shop Merchandising Specialist to join the retail team. You will support the Director of Town Club Athletics and Director of Retail in managing the Racquets Shop operations, merchandising strategies, and member experience.

This role focuses on buying decisions, inventory control, vendor relations, displays, and coordinating with the Business Office on invoicing and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative.
• Experience with NorthStar POS is desirable; MS Excel/Word proficiency preferred.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced club environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist Director of Retail with vendor selection, product offerings, and buying decisions.
• Manage special orders, invoices, member billing, and order communications.
• Create visually appealing merchandise displays for members and guests.
• Ensure invoices are processed promptly and reconciled with vendors.
• Maintain inventory, perform monthly counts, and prevent over/under-stocking.
• Unbox, tag, and display new merchandise; restock as needed.
• Attend vendor meetings; build relationships with reps.
• Assist with annual Employee Sale and staff uniforms.
• Support receptionist duties and member inquiries at Racquets Shop.
• Enter concessions orders and assist with program billing.
