Job summary

Mythic seeks a System Architect to own the rack-level reference design for our AI compute platforms. You will lead rack and platform pathfinding across board and chassis layout, scale-up/scale-out fabric topology, and the cooling needed at high rack densities.

You will work at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering, ensuring software-partitioning decisions align with fabric, memory, and topology requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated ownership of dense, rack-based server systems taken to production.
• Expert command of copper and optical interconnects: PCIe, Ethernet/SerDes, DAC/Twinax, backplane/cabling.

Responsibilities

• Define rack-level reference architecture from board to rack, including mechanical envelope and serviceability.
• Lead scale-up/scale-out interconnect design, topology, and bandwidth budgeting.
• Develop thermal architecture for high-density racks with cooling strategies.
• Define power delivery architecture and rack distribution for high-density devices.
• Collaborate with software teams on model partitioning and fabric requirements to drive architecture decisions.
