Job summary

Foxconn is seeking an AI Server/Rack Architecture Engineer in Santa Clara, CA, to own the physical-to-logical system blueprint for integrated AI racks and translate vendor chip designs into validated rack-integration matrices.

Responsibilities include defining rack-level architecture across hardware, thermal, power, and network subsystems, and driving ECOs with R&D to ensure scalable, reliable hyperscale deployments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/EE/Systems Engineering or related field with strong hardware architecture experience.
• Experience with HPC or enterprise server architecture.
• Familiarity with OCP standards and data center deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize rack-level architecture and integration topology for AI server platforms.
• Identify design conflicts across hardware, thermal, power, network, and firmware interfaces.
• Translate hyperscale requirements into rack design specifications and ensure OCP alignment.
• Analyze telemetry and failure patterns; lead root-cause investigations for reliability.
• Manage ECOs and provide feedback to R&D for design improvements.
