Job summary

Mythic is seeking a System Architect to own the rack-level reference design for its AI compute platforms. You will lead development from board to rack, shaping topology, interconnects, and cooling to deliver high-density, energy-efficient systems.

You’ll work across electrical, mechanical, and software domains to align partitioning strategies with fabric bandwidth, power delivery, and thermal budgets, driving production-ready architecture with measurable targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience owning dense, rack-based server systems to production.
• Expert in copper and optical interconnects, PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, optics.
• Experience removing heat, cooling architecture, and facility interface.
• Ability to reason across interconnect, power, thermal, mechanical, and software boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own rack-level reference design from board to rack.
• Collaborate with software to partition models across devices.
• Define bandwidth budgets and interconnect topology.
• Lead thermal and power architecture validation with data.
• Coordinate with ODMs/CMs for production deployment.
