Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment in Walmart facilities. You will work with hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete jobs, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate tools.
• Use the work order system to manage repair work orders for stores and staff.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and training for equipment operation.
• Follow OSHA and EPA regulations in safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
