Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs of refrigeration HVAC equipment across our facilities. You will use commercial HVAC/R skills and a range of tools to complete jobs, servicing Walmart stores with a focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency.

This role requires 2+ years in commercial HVAC maintenance and EPA refrigerant handling certification. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are also required.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean record.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Receive and document repair Work Orders via work-order management system.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
