Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local retail store. You will support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial skills and tools to complete jobs on site.

The role requires 2 years of commercial Refrigeration HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR. Physical tasks include lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights, with adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
