Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems across our stores. You will use hand and power tools, manage work orders, and respond to emergencies to keep facilities operating at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in commercial HVAC maintenance, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site role requires safety compliance and the ability to lift and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerants.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand and power tools.
• Receive and document repair Work Orders in the system to support Stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
