Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems at our stores. You will use commercial HVAC tools, manage work orders, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Role requires 2+ years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, rack refrigeration experience, and EPA refrigerant handling certification. Valid driver's license and HS diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities/equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
