Job summary

Walmart in Jackson, MI is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment across the store. You will use hand tools, digital devices, and power tools to complete tasks and ensure systems run safely and efficiently.

Join Walmart’s team to support 24/7 store operations. Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Utilize work order management system to receive and document repair work orders
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training for equipment safety
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights
