Job summary

Walmart in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. You will use hand tools, power tools, and digital systems to complete jobs, respond to emergencies, and document repair activities.

Requirements include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R program with 2 years’ experience.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in related field for HVAC/R.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights regularly.
