Walmart is recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local store in Michigan. You will support and oversee repair within the Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, using hand tools, power tools and digital tools to complete jobs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
