Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local store. You will support and oversee repairs of Refrigeration HVAC equipment, utilizing commercial HVAC skills and a variety of tools to complete jobs.

The role requires experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma. It includes safety training and physical duties such as lifting heavy loads and working at heights.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work orders management system to receive repairs and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work at heights regularly.
