Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment at our local store. You will use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, power tools, and digital devices to complete jobs in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance or 4 years in related field with EPA Type I/II certification. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required with relevant field experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support Stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work at heights regularly.
