Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Downey, CA to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC skills and tools. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and prompt emergency response.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification for refrigerant handling, and a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or universal)
• Valid state issued driver’s license with clean record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Process repair Work Orders and document activities in the work order system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
