Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Refrigeration/Commercial Equipment Technician in Tennessee. You will support repair activities in store facilities using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of Refrigeration HVAC maintenance or 3 years in electrical/plumbing maintenance, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma. This role includes safety training, Benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance or 3 years' experience in commercial maintenance such as electrical / plumbing.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Hold EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
