Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment at Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repairs and support Stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues with equipment.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
