Job summary

Walmart in Nashville, TN is seeking a Refrigeration/HVAC technician to support repair work within our Refrigeration or commercial equipment teams. You will use hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete jobs in a retail environment.

The role requires EPA certification for refrigerant handling, 2–4 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will operate safely and follow Walmart safety guidelines while assisting with store

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance or 3 years' experience in commercial maintenance such as electrical / plumbing.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
