Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration Technician in Chattanooga, TN to maintain and fix Walmart refrigeration systems at local stores. You'll work with commercial HVAC/R equipment, use a variety of tools, and follow safety and EPA guidelines.

The role includes responding to emergencies and documenting repairs in the work order system. Minimum qualifications include EPA refrigerant certification, 2 years in commercial refrigeration, a valid driver’s license, and a high school

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart refrigeration equipment and assets using hand and power tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair activities for stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues; test equipment as needed.
• Complete safety trainings and follow OSHA and EPA guidelines.
