Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems at our local stores. You will use commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete jobs and document activities.

The role requires EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. This position may include a $2000 sign-on bonus at select locations and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair activities for Stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
