Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcripts required).
• Must be able to commute to Plymouth, IN.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Compound Engineering Department with development of rubber compounds.
• Learn processing, testing and evaluation of racing compounds and tires.
• Study elastomer technology and ingredient effects through lab experiments and data analysis.
• Attend races and tire tests to observe performance of compounds.
• Design and lead a project related to compound performance and processing.
• Provide regular written project updates via email.
