Job summary

Qualifications

• Be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (unofficial transcripts required).
• Experience with 2D/3D design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Experience with MS Excel (macros, pivots, VBA) and MS PowerBI.
• Must be able to commute to Plymouth, IN; housing not provided.

Responsibilities

• Support data investigations focused on tire constructions, materials, and performance characteristics.
• Analyze and optimize existing R&D tools for reliability and improvement.
• Assist in tire construction analyses to identify opportunities for performance, cost, and efficiency improvements.
• Review and interpret data from indoor and outdoor tire testing programs.
• Support development of digital solutions to improve cross-department collaboration (scheduling, workflows).
• Develop new tools to improve data evaluation, visualization, and reporting capabilities.
• Support Product Development with implementation and validation of technical tasks.
• Assist R&D Management with rapid analyses, summaries, and targeted data investigations.
