Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a skilled Chassis Engineer for Ford Racing in Michigan. You will lead design, release, and delivery of chassis components, driving QCWFT metrics to meet program milestones across prototype and production phases.

The role requires 4+ years in chassis engineering, strong CAD experience (Teamcenter, CATIA, 3Dx), and a passion for racing. Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams is essential to success in this high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in Chassis engineering, delivering at least one program.
• 2+ years of experience using CAD or visualization tools.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Familiarity with GPDS and program delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of Chassis components and systems for Ford Racing (QCWFT) to meet GPDS milestones.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities and manage supplier relations.
• Lead program delivery through milestones and coordinate internal/external resources.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions including CAE analysis and testing for Racing vehicles.
