Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Michigan seeks a Chassis Engineer for Ford Racing to design, release and deliver chassis components. You will manage program milestones, collaborate with Purchasing, and lead internal resources to meet racing division targets.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in chassis and strong CAD/tool experience, plus a passion for racing and innovation. This role is on-site in Michigan with opportunities across racing programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years in Chassis engineering with at least one completed program.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Body exterior or powertrain experience may be considered.
• 2+ years using CAD and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of Chassis components for Ford Racing; manage QCWFT to milestones.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.
• Lead program delivery through multiple milestones.
• Lead FSS and other resources to deliver programs.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative race vehicle solutions including design, CAE, and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design changes during prototype and launch builds.
• Interface with Core Chassis Organization.
